The new national film highlights the cruel reality of work analogous to slavery, a problem that often goes unnoticed by society in everyday life.
To highlight the theme, 7 Prisoners tells the story of Matthew. The young man leaves the countryside to work in a junkyard in São Paulo, commanded by Luca. When he starts his new job, the protagonist and the other characters who are with him discover they are in a work system analogous to slavery.
In the end, the young man has a chance to get everyone out of there and finish off Luca after a night of partying. As a way to ease the choice of following as the boss' right-hand man, he just takes a different meal to his old colleagues.
